Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using NotchScore, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What NotchScore Is

NotchScore is a macOS utility that displays live football scores, lineups, stats and match commentary in your menu bar and notch. It fetches publicly available match data over the internet to do this. It does not record, store, log, or transmit personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. License

NotchScore is provided free of charge. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use NotchScore on devices you own or control. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by applicable law.

4. Your Responsibilities

• You agree to use NotchScore in compliance with all applicable laws and the policies of your operating system and app marketplace.
• You agree not to use NotchScore in any way that disrupts, damages, or interferes with other software or hardware.

5. Match Data

Scores, fixtures, statistics and other match data are provided by third-party data sources and are offered on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that this data is accurate, complete, or available without interruption, and it should not be relied upon for betting or other consequential decisions.

6. Tips & Optional Payments

NotchScore is free. Any tip or optional payment you choose to make is a voluntary contribution to support development and is non-refundable except where required by law. Tips do not unlock features and grant no additional rights.

7. Disclaimers

NotchScore is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luminoxe and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, NotchScore.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim related to NotchScore will not exceed the greater of the amount you voluntarily paid for NotchScore in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $0.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Luminoxe and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of NotchScore or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or discontinue NotchScore, its features, updates, or related services at any time if required by law, platform policy, abuse prevention, or security reasons.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of NotchScore after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
