1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Tacque, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Tacque Is

Tacque is a macOS utility that plays mechanical keyboard sounds in response to your key presses. To do this, Tacque requires your permission to detect key-press events (for example, Accessibility or Input Monitoring access in macOS). Tacque uses these events only to trigger sounds in real time. It does not record, store, log, or transmit what you type. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. License

Tacque is provided free of charge. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Tacque on devices you own or control. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by applicable law.

4. Your Responsibilities

• You agree to use Tacque in compliance with all applicable laws and the policies of your operating system and app marketplace.
• You are responsible for granting and managing the system permissions Tacque needs to function.
• You agree not to use Tacque in any way that disrupts, damages, or interferes with other software or hardware.

5. Permissions & Privacy

Tacque may request system permissions required to detect key-press events. These permissions are used solely to play sounds on your device. No keystroke content or personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted. Your use of Tacque is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

6. Tips & Optional Payments

Tacque is free, forever. Any tip or optional payment you choose to make is a voluntary contribution to support development and is non-refundable except where required by law. Tips do not unlock features and grant no additional rights.

7. Disclaimers

Tacque is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luminoxe and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, Tacque.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim related to Tacque will not exceed the greater of the amount you voluntarily paid for Tacque in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $0.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Luminoxe and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Tacque or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or discontinue Tacque, its features, updates, or related services at any time if required by law, platform policy, abuse prevention, or security reasons.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Tacque after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
