Privacy policy

What we collect
Nothing about you is collected or stored on our servers. Your portal addresses, usernames, passwords and favourites stay on your device, and sync between your own devices through your private iCloud account, which we cannot read.
The exceptions are the third-party services described below, which receive limited data directly from your device.
Advertising
Strimix is free and supported by advertising on iPhone and iPad. We use Google AdMob to show ads. To select and measure them, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier and limited technical information such as device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and which ads you saw or tapped.
Strimix itself does not receive that data. We never share your portal credentials, subscription details, or anything you watch with advertisers. Google's own policy explains how they handle it: how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
The macOS and Apple TV versions show no ads at all.
Your choices
- On iOS, Apple asks whether Strimix may track you. Allowing it makes ads relevant; declining does not increase how many ads you see. You can change it any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- In the EU, UK and Switzerland we additionally ask for consent through a Google-certified consent form, which you can reopen from the app's settings.
- Upgrading to PRO removes advertising entirely.
Subscriptions
PRO subscriptions are purchased through Apple and managed for us by RevenueCat, which records purchase and restore events so your subscription works across your devices. It receives no name, email address or payment details — Apple handles payment and never shares your card information with us.
Other services
Artwork, descriptions and ratings come from The Movie Database (TMDB) and similar metadata providers. Requests for that artwork reach them from your device and include the usual technical details such as your IP address. Optional subtitle search works the same way.
Your IPTV provider necessarily sees your activity on their service. That relationship is between you and them, and their privacy policy applies.
Analytics
Strimix uses no analytics services. We don't measure how you use the app, build a profile of you, or record what you watch. Apart from the advertising described above, no usage information leaves your device.
Children
Strimix is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
